Photoshop is such an excellent tool when wanting to edit images. Am I the only one using it?

I think it's a great piece of software though I don't currently have it and it's too expensive to buy.

It's great but I don't see the need for it.

I use GIMP, it does pretty much everything PS does (in some ways better) and if by default a feature is missing, you just need to install the right plugin. There are plugins that will give it functionality PS just doesn't have.

I know allot of people don't like it because they find it clumsy but, but be fair, it was developed for Linux first, which has multiple desktops. It was then ported, by design it's a great layout but a bit clumsy under windows were desktop space is an issue. Luckily though the next version is going to come with a single-window mode to address this.

I think it's much better than PS in several aspects honestly, and it's not as resource hungry either.

Oh and did Iimagine it supports any graphic file type you can think of!

According to me I think that photoshop is really a nice tool for editing or modifying photos. Photoshop comes in a Standard version as well as an Extended version with specialized tools and features for the video, engineering, architecture, manufacturing, science, and medical fields. You can also get traditional fine arts effects with filter tool in photoshop.

Yes Grievous, I totally agree with you. As I also believe that Photoshop is one of the best graphic tools and I also want to say that most of web designers using that Photoshop to edit the image as well as to make any of the image.
